Just like every year, this year also we have gathered here to celebrate the Teachers' Day. The 5th of September is celebrated as Teachers' Day in India in commemoration of birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
As a Teacher, Vice President and second President of India Dr. RadhaKrishnan made an immense contribution to the country.
On this special occasion, I wish to convey my best wishes and greetings to all the Teachers gathered here and to all those, who have helped me attain success in my academics.
 As we all know that it is impossible to define 'teacher' as Teachers are not only limited to Teaching or guiding students in academics but also helping students to take the right path.
They add value to our character and make us an ideal citizens of the country. Secondly, Teachers are our second parents.
Teachers play a prominent role in influencing and inspiring us. Every student tries to imitate their teachers and consider them as a role model.
After parents, teachers take the responsibility of moulding a child's character at each and every step. Therefore, it is our utmost duty to salute/convey our wishes to Teachers today in recognition of their undeterred efforts. Let us take time to pay honour and admire all their contribution in elevating us. Thank you teachers for your invaluable efforts and guidance.

Good morning to all of you gathered here to celebrate the special occasion - The Teachers' Day.
 It is well-known fact that every year we celebrate 5th September as Teachers' Day in memory of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a Teacher par excellence and also one of the successful Presidents of India.
 Teachers' Day is a special and important day as students offer their respect to Teachers in recognition of their contribution in the field of education.
 Teachers are also the guides who play an important role in transforming a student into a responsible citizen.
They also serve as guides and help us reach our aim in all terms. Their contribution is not only limited to schools but it extends to society and country. Thus, after parents, teachers should receive the due respect.
Teachers' day is celebrated as a special event in schools and colleges in different ways.
 Students will be looking forward to make the event special by offering gifts, flowers and greeting cards to their teachers. Cultural programmes are also held to make the programme more fun-filled and colourful. The D-day provides the students with a wonderful opportunity to be grateful to their teachers in appreciation of their work. Hence, don't miss the chance to celebrate and make it memorable.

Good morning to all the teachers and my dear friends. As all of us know, we are here to celebrate the Teachers' Day.
On this auspicious occasion, let us take the privilege to convey our wishes to all the teachers, who have given impeachable contribution in shaping our personality.
Every year 5th of September, we celebrate Teachers Day.
It is the day filled with lots of excitements, joy and happiness as students are eagerly looking forward to tell their teachers how and why are they special to them. Dear friends, today I am going to give a speech on importance of a teacher in our life. In India, Teachers' day is celebrated on 5th of September every year. September 5th is the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and the Teachers' day is celebrated in commemoration of his birthday. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was not only the President of India, but also a great scholar and a teacher.
Students across the country celebrate the day to pay respect to their teachers.
Teachers are the back bone of our society. They play a key role in shaping and building students' personality and make them ideal citizens of the country.
Teaching profession is a noble profession and will make a great impact on the growth, development and well being of the students and nation.
There is a saying that teachers are greater than the parents.
Parents give birth to a child whereas teachers mould that child's personality and make his/her future bright.
 Apart from academics, teachers stand by us at every step to guide, motivate and inspire us for learning many good things.
They are the source of knowledge and wisdom.
